So, yeah. It’s official, he’s now my boyfriend. We go to the same school, both Asian and ehrr, I don’t really feel like blogging about him in here. Go follow dancewithjay.tumblr.com? I blog more often there, mostly about my everyday life, what I am up to, etc. LOL, shameless plugging.
Okay, the thing that’s left is to tell my mom (and stepdad), I guess? :L I never really talk about guys to my mom. Any advice? How do I start? How do I say it? :/
I told them this afternoon. Well, mom’s reaction was surprisingly.. uhh, how do I explain it? She didn’t get angry or anything, she was just smiling. Then came the advice.. she was so cool until that. Hoho. I kid.
Just be yourself. They probably trust you a lot and having a boyfriend would not bother your step one bit.
I’m thinking your dad will take it better since he’s Western. And they’re chill about things like those.
Oh. But do remember to tell you mom that just because you have a boyfriend doesn’t mean you’ll slack off and all that. Do remember telling her that you’ll still keep your grades up and you won’t get too–um, attached? To him.
And this may sound old-school, but do tell them that his intentions are good. Minsan kailangan din yun eh, di ba.

I never really talk to my mom about boys. Well I don’t talk to her about much of anything these days. I do know that it’s easier to talk to moms about them though. In most cases they come to you before you go to them
